Jokowi Announced the Rising of Indonesian Army's Salary
Jokowi announced the rising of Indonesian Army (TNI)'s salary to the whole armies to 60 percent each starting from next month. Jokowi announced this news after the appointment of President (himself) as the TNI's guest of honor in TNI's quarter in Cilangkap, Jakarta, (16/4/2015).
"It's a good a news actually. This morning I called minister of state apparatus empowerment and minister of finance. There will be addition subsidy of performance for about 56-60 percent. And the armies here will get that automatically", said Jokowi in front of the whole 6.450 TNI armies.
He added, with a stabilized politic and well security, the development planning in the economical side five years later will work well, too. Jokowi is sure that with a strong security, the problems like illegal fishing and illegal logging can be treated well.
"That is, alusista (alat utama sistem persenjataan) and the armies' prosperity can be increased. As well as our budget will increase, too", said him.
In that event, Jokowi accepted the appointment as the guest of honor of TNI. That event was also held by uniforming the baret and also the giving of jackets from all the different special forces of TNI.
